Linda Wink Antiques to Retro came to be because of a pair of lamps...

That's right. I purchased a funky pair of lamps from the 1950s and proceeded to decorate my home around them. I was over the country and traditional way of decorating. I wanted to surround myself with things from the fabulous fifties!

Of course my son thought I had gone off the deep end, but, while looking for items to fill my home, I encountered so many individuals that were looking for mid-century furnishings, that I decided to open my own retail store. That was almost 5 years ago and I've never looked back.
